Medical Help

This scheme is designed to help and support those who are affected with serious illnesses. These people go through severe financial and psychological distress. The scheme helps such people to relieve their burdens and retrieve their life. Beneficiaries are identified based on the reports filed after grassroot level enquiries by local field workers. Consultation on affordable treatment costs, suitable hospitals and doctors are provided along with the financial aid. The scheme is widely supported by doctors and hospitals. A financial aid of Rs. 50k to 100k are given to cases involved with a surgery. Medical pensions are also distributed to permanently affected people. Those deserving are given aids of Rs 1k to 3k. As of now, medical pension is given up to three years. Applicants are asked to renew their application at each ten months. Along with these, the distribution of medical equipment and relief activities through palliative units are carried out.
